Seems like summer time has arrived.  Last sunday was the first day this year I went the whole day without getting fully dressed.  I'm not exactly proud of that, and hey, maybe it's too much information, but I'm trying to say it was hot.

It fascinated me to learn that in most of the country, the majority of rainfall occurs in the summer time.  That's completely contrary to my experience growing up in the Bay Area.  Mediterranean climate, they call it. We don't get much rain in the summer time.  We're lucky if we get any rain at all.  We're currently in a drought.

So while we're busy evaporating in the coming months, I thought it might be fun to reminisce the rain.  Today's edition of Radio EdSoft Films is titled "Made On A Rainy Day".  Because that's when it was made.  I planed out today's playlist during a pouring rain.

And if we're lucky, maybe this is just the kind of voodoo we need to cause a summer rain.

I can dream can't I?

This is "Kakariko Village" by Koji Kondo. Up next, "Aikawa Cho slow life" by the Kuricorder Pops Orchestra. Right here on Radio EdSoft Films.

Not too complicated a thing, rain.  Water condenses around microscopic specs in our atmosphere and forms clouds, eventually the clouds get too heavy to stay in the sky, and the water simply falls.

Kind of magical, isn't it.

Until next time.
