Hey, wait a second.  Something's different.

First thing you might notice, this isn't a computer talking.  I'm talking to you directly today.  You might ask, why? I'll tell you why.

Because I wanna keep it real with you all.  These economic times are really taking their tole on me.

It's times like these that I really need to be cheered up. And that's exactly what I'm going to try to do with today's show.

This is show number 20, titled "Happy Fun Time."

We started off with "Love Tropicana" by Sister Mayo, and this is "Yakitate Japan, Samba Version" by Taku Iwasaki.

Up next, "The Aftermath" by Danny Elfman.

I hope these songs put a smile on your face.  I know I couldn't help but smile while making it.  Keep it tuned to Radio EdSoft Films on KECG.

I want this to keep going.  I want things to stay positive, despite all the negativity around me.  I want to keep evolving and continue growing.  Failing all of that, I at least want to be happy.

This is show number 20, "Happy Fun Time."

You heard, "Icicle Mountain" by Shogo Sakai followed by "Mama Loves Nortec" by the Nortec Collective, which was also joined by excerpts from Happy Gilmore which was written by Tim Herlihy and Adam Sandler.  After that was "New School Term #5" and this is "Mayaa Season" both by the Kuricorder Pops Orchestra.

Up next, "You Are My Sunshine" by Norman Blake on Radio EdSoft Films, right here on 88.1 KECG.

Things are so difficult right now.  Bills are piling up.  My wages aren't enough to pay them.  What does a person do to get past these inadequacies of income?  Tune out.  Or tune in.  Mindless entertainment.  Radio EdSoft Films.  This is show number 20, titled "Happy Fun Time."

You heard "Rapper's Delight" by the Sugarhill Gang followed by "It's A Sunshine Day" by The Brady Bunch...

Did I really play a song by the Brady Bunch?

Anyway...

After that was "Dance! Laugh! Be Happy!" and this is "Peddler's Declamation," both by Shogo Sakai.

Up next, "(I've got a) Golden Ticket" by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley.  I wish I had a golden ticket.  But you don't need a ticket to listen to Radio EdSoft Films on 88.1 KECG.  Admission is free, baby.

I could swear even my birthday is like my unbirthday these days...

I imagine the economy has kept the people who might usually give me a gift from doing so.

Most other people were never the type to do so anyway.

Not like I could ever afford to give anyone a gift...

But boy, wouldn't it be nice to get a nice gift this August for my birthday? It sure would make me happy.

This is show number 20, "Happy Fun Time."

You heard "Rainbow Road" by Shinobu Tanaka and Kenta Nagata, followed by "My_S" by yours truly. After that was "In the room" by Shogo Sakai, and then "My Front Pocket" by Trey Parker.  Finally, we just heard "Happy Unbirthday" from Alice in Wonderland and this is "Happy Families" by Sam Fonteyn.

Is there such thing as a happy family? Well, I know we here at KECG, 88.1 and 97.7 are a happy family, especially at Radio EdSoft Films.

I dunno why, but Shogo Sakai seems to write a lot of music that makes me happy.  I can't explain it. But whatever.  This is show number 20, "Happy Fun Time."  It doesn't have to make sense!

You heard

"Junior High school Students March On!" by Yoshihiro Ike, followed by

"Ending (Yoshi's Story)" by Masafumi Takada.

Then "Tron the Grasslands" by Hideki Tobeta and "Funky Monkey Dance" by Shogo Sakai again.

This is "Happy-Go-Lively" by Laurie Johnson.

Up next, the solution to all your problems, if all your problems amount to you being unhappy, that is.  It's "If you wanna be happy" by Jimmy Soul.

And finally, the end of this edition of Radio EdSoft Films will consist of "Baby Elephant Walk" by Monkey Bars and "I Wish" by Stevie Wonder" in a bastardized mix.  I'm sure I'm offending someone by mixing them together, but who cares.  They both make me happy.

Until next time, Keep evolving and continue growing with KECG.
