Both KECG, and EdSoftFilms.com, were both on temporary hiatus since the beginning of the Christmas holiday, and we are both glad to be back on the air.  KECG has successfully moved from it's temporary home in the portable El Cerrito High School to the brand-new, state-of-the-art, permanent El Cerrito High School.  As for edsoftfilms.com, technical issues postponed the renewal of the domain name.  But hopefully, by the time you are hearing this, all is repaired and working properly.

The holidays are now over, and we are in winter mode around the northern hemisphere.  Today's show, show number 6.9: Cold, Ice, and Winter Safely, is a response to the earth's axis' present inclination.  I hope, wherever you are, that you stay warm and enjoy it.

This is "Snowman" by Kay ichi Suzuki and Hero kah zoo Ta na ka.  Up next, "It Happened In Sun Valley," performed by the Randy Van Horne Singers, on Radio EdSoft Films, 88.1, 97.7, KECG.

88.1 FM, 97.7 FM, KECG.  Radio EdSoft Films.  This is show number 6.9: Cold, Ice, and Winter Safely.  It's true it never really gets too cold here in El Cerrito, but it's winter none the less.

You heard from Cindy Combs with "Winter Wonderland."  "Ice Climber Victory" from Super Smash Bros. Melee.  "Cold Irons Bound," by Bob Dylan.  And this is "The Wampa's Lair/Vision Of Obi-Wan/Snowspeeders Take Flight" by John Williams.  Up next will be "Ice Cavern," by Koji Kondo.  Full playlist on the web at www.edsoftfilms.com/radio.  This is show number 6.9: Cold, Ice, and Winter Safely.

You heard "Yuletide Town" by the Kuricorder Pops Orchestra, even though the Yuletide times have since passed.  It still is a very wintery sounding song, as it comes from a selection of Fuyu Shogun, or General Winter, Suites.  Fuyu Shogun is like a Japanese Jack Frost, and I think most people living in a winter climate still have to deal with that guy.

After that, you heard "Let There Be Snow," by Mark Mothersbaugh, and you're now listening to Winter Steps by Ta ku E Wah Sa Ki.  Up next, Ice Cube, (There goes another pun!) with "Cold Places."

Winter will eventually thaw.  There was a spring, summer, fall, and now, winter.  But there will be another spring.  Things will get warm again.

You heard "Eternal Snow" by "Changin' My Life" and this is "Winter Thaw" by Rachel Portman.

We'll close the show today with "It Happened In Sun Valley" again, this time by Trey Parker and the late Mary Kay Bergman, as their characters Stan & Wendy.  Until next time, keep evolving and continue growing.
